The Courtenay A&P Show attracts a crowd of around 3000 people from across the South Island, including competitors, judges, organisers and the wider community.

The schedule has a full range of classes including equestrian, sheep, cattle, goats, poultry, grain and seed, vintage tractors, cooking, knitting, sewing and fresh flowers and vegetables.

There is also a huge range of other attractions such as the wide variety of food and craft stalls, kids entertainment, wood chopping, speed shearing and the Ellesmere Pipe Band.
